Don't miss the ML5K on Jan. 19 to support ESP
Come support Extra Special People (ESP) in the Dream to Be Able ML5K. The race begins and ends at Dudley Park in Athens GA.
Family and Group rate registration is only available through mail in registration. Registration forms available on the ESP website and the Classic Race Services website.
Event details and schedule
About ESP: ESP empowers children with developmental disabilities to cultivate skills, self-confidence, and relationships through recreational therapy, community involvement, and the arts. With the support of volunteers and donors, the ESP team gives participants and their families acceptance, hope, and the opportunity to not just survive, but to thrive.
Awards: Will be presented to Overall Male/Female, Overall Male/Female Masters, and Top 3 in Age Groups beginning with 10-and-under through 75-and-over.
Timing and Results: Finish line management and results will be provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www. runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.
Dream Dash: Immediately before the 5K, will be our run/walk in honor of the children with special needs who attend ESP. All children are invited to participate. The Dream Dash is $10. All children receive a medal at the end.
Shirts and Goodies: Everyone who registers by 1/14/1 will be guaranteed a shirt. Those who register after that date and on race day will be given shirts while supplies last. There will be plenty of refreshments.
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2015 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.
Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 1PM
Dream Dash: Starts at 2:15PM
5K Race: Starts at 3PM
Awards: Given out after the 5K
