Our Story

  Fleet Feet Sports Athens has been a dream of Dustin Shinholser for quite some time.  A native of Athens, Dustin graduated in 1999 from Oconee County High School and was a member of the school's first boys state championship team in 1998 for cross country.  After leaving for college, Dustin knew he always wanted to come back to Athens and be able to give back to the community that gave him so much growing up.  There's no better way to do that than with the gift of a healthy lifestyle.

  On the surface, Fleet Feet Sports is a specialty retail store that focuses on running & walking footwear, apparel, & accessories.  Really, there's much more to it than that though.  Fleet Feet Sports Athens strives to bring you the very best in customer service, knowledgeable advice, and programs to help you lead a healthy lifestyle.  We welcome people of all walks of life, whether you're a competitive runner or just someone that wants to feel good & pain free on their feet at work.
