West Side Y Tri

The 3rd leg of the Fleet Feet Sprint Series, the West Side Y Tri, was this past weekend, and it was the first race for many of our triathlon training participants. The distance may be on the short side, but the twisty bike course sure is a challenge! It was a great race, with a fantastic group of volunteers supporting the athletes on the course, absolutely perfect summer weather, and of course the awesome Race Day Events crew.

Fleet Feet Knoxville cleaned up on the awards podium, with over 20 training group members and staff placing! Special mention to Katie Dotson, who placed 2nd Overall Female, Fleet Feet Owner Shahin Hadian, who won Grandmasters, and a big congratulations to all the first time triathletes who competed this weekend!
