Runners Club Ice Cream Social (6/7/14)

The FLEET FEET Runner's Club is hosting its annual Ice Cream Run this upcoming Saturday, June 7. The run will start from Fritz's Frozen Custard (506 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, MO 63376) at 7PM Saturday evening. Look for the FLEET FEET Runners Club banner. After the run, the club treats everyone to Ice Cream or whatever treat you want at Fritz's.
 
Club members are encouraged to invite a friend, perhaps someone who might be interested in joining the club. Please bring a lawn chair for your comfort after the run as we usually socialize in the parking lot at Fritz's. The club will also have on hand a cooler of iced water to cool you down after the run.  Note: This year, for socializing afterward, we are going to try locating on the North side of the parking lot (that would be to the right of the building, but to get there you need to go behind the building and swing around right). That should avoid some of the traffic we had last year. 

The run is a 5K course, which long-time area runners will recognize as the old Haley's Run course. Those not wanting to do the full course can take a shortcut before the Spencer Creek covered bridge and follow the foot path (part of our Rec-Plex course) to join up with the route at Boone Hills Dr -- please consult the map for the creek location.
