Buffs, Feetures, & Curbside Pickup Hours: An Update from Ed

First off, thank you to the medical professionals and state, county, city and community officials leading this fight. I'd also like to thank all who have supported Fleet Feet while we have been closed to help fight COVID-19 locally. 

If you have sent us a selfie, ordered products from fleetfeet.com or stopped by for contactless curbside pick-up, we are in your debt.

Some new things to announce this week:

Curbside pick-up hours: Monday- Saturday, 10AM-2PM

First, we will standardize our curbside pick-up hours to 10 AM – 2 PM, Monday through Saturday. Anything you order from us can be picked up during this window. When you arrive, call the store at 315-449-2693 and we will bring out your order. Just pop your trunk, and we will send you on your way, safely. Curbside pick-up is available in DeWitt only at this time (it is just Ellen, Erin and myself fulfilling orders). 

Feetures Buy One, Gift One

Next, the great folks at Feetures Socks have provided Fleet Feet customers another way to help fight Coronavirus. Until further notice, each time you buy a pair of Feetures socks from Fleet Feet Syracuse, Feetures will donate a pair of socks to the medical professionals who are helping take care of Coronavirus victims. The details:

• Feetures has identified 13 “hot spots” around the country and will donate a pair for each pair we sell, up to 20,000 pairs.
• This offer is on curbside pick-up orders only, placed directly with Fleet Feet Syracuse (no online orders). Place your order with us at 315-449-2693 between 10 AM to 2 PM. Our team (all three of us!), can look up your previous purchases and give you advice on what would work best for you.

Cover your Face with a Buff

Finally, the CDC last week, suggested that Americans should have some kind of face covering whenever you are outside to help the fight against COVID-19. They recommended that citizens should not use the same masks that health care users are using, so that these masks are preserved for those providing care.

Marcia, our purchasing manager texted us last week and suggested that Buffs would work great per the CDC guidelines. For the unacquainted, Buffs are a multifunctional piece of headwear that can be used for face protection, as a scarf, a headband, a do-rag or a hat.

We miss our running/walking groups and training buddies. So while we maintain a safe social distance, our Fleet Feet coaches are working together to provide free daily workouts to the #3run5 community. This group is open to runners and walkers of all abilities!
