Another Stupid Event is September 28

Nearly Instant ASE

Many years ago the very first ASE (Another Stupid Event) was run at the Merna Tap.  Larry Kelly, owner of the Merna Tap has sold the bar, so the Lake Run Club will have a “so long, it’s been great to be here” at the Merna Tap.

In addition to the run, with most folks running around the 4 mile section, or whatever you want (a two mile run or walk to the cemetery and back is popular too) we’ll have the usual comradery, some great pub food, and to celebrate, DOOR PRIZES!!!  Mark your calendar, and bring a friend!

Where:  Kelly’s Merna Bar & Grill, 15980 North 2300 East Rd., Merna IL

When:  Saturday September 28, 2019; 11:00 AM to Whenever!?!

Cost:  The run and fun are always free, food and beverage extra.
