Fleet Feet Chattanooga opened on March 3, 2016.  We’re passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, and opening my own Fleet Feet store is a dream come true. This is something I have wanted to do since the age of 15.  I have worked in the running specialty industry since 2004 I am excited that Chattanooga is now, home.  I never get tired of hearing "Welcome to Chattanooga".

I started running in 1981 at the age of 14, at the encouragement of my long time friend, Dink Taylor.  Eventually Dink and I would work together for 11 years at Fleet Feet Huntsville where I served as General Manager.  I made the decision to venture out on my own with Fleet Feet and Chattanooga was at the top of the list of possible destinations.

Jennifer and I ran our first race together after dating for only a month.  We have both ran distances up to 50K.  While I have more of the retail background,  Jennifer has coached many runners over the years, from assistant coaching at Jacksonville State University to coaching beginning 5K runners up to Marathon runners.  We have both served as high school cross country and track coaches.  Jennifer's full time job is an X-ray technologist.  She heads up our training programs at Fleet Feet  Chattanooga.

We live on Signal Mtn. and our son Davis, works at Fleet Feet full time as a manager and buyer.  He ran on the cross country and track team.  Davis basically grew up in Fleet Feet, spending many days at work and after school with me.  

Meet the Staff

 Davis Carter | Manager/Buyer

Davis has been working at Fleet Feet Chattanoonga since day one.  He also worked part time at Fleet Feet Huntsville, AL.   As a former cross country runner at Signal Mountain High School, Davis' knows the impact of finding the right shoe for every foot. He is a fitting wiz, and is always happy to accommodate our customers needs.
