Saucony has amped up the fabric used in tights and capris by increasing the spandex/lyrca content from the standard 12% found in most other brands to 17-20%. In terms of fit, increased spandex means a more comfortable, and more flattering, fit without a huge price increase.

Benefits of the new fabric include:

• More stretch means it moves with your body better, allowing you to focus on your workout rather than what your pants are doing.
• Higher spandex/lycra content allows for a more flattering, streamlined look.
• The lycra is dyed black to prevent any scandalous see-through issues.

Both the Bullet Tight Short and Bullet Capri are now constructed with PowerLuxe, which contains 20% spandex/lycra.
