Emily Essex was born and raised in NELA. A graduate of University of Louisiana Monroe and Grambling State University, Emily has been in the sports/athletic world for years. She began working at Fleet Feet Monroe as a part-time position in the summers but quickly grew to love the mission and customer service aspect of the job. She became in Training Program Manager in August 2022, then the Retail Experience Manager, and now is our General Manager. Have questions about training programs or any general store information? Trey is a former ULM Football player and former Tennis Pro at Monroe Athletic Club. Trey's love for sports and shoes drew him to Fleet Feet Monroe. He is excited for his future at Fleet Feet as the Marketing Manager! Trey is ready to take Monroe by storm in his new position. Hi! My name is Dylan Ross and I am a student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I graduated from West Ouachita Highschool and played basketball there. I also helped coach basketball for the highschool. I am majoring in exercise science because I am very interested sports. I am very excited to see what working at Fleet Feet will hold for me!

Hi! My name is Hannah! I graduated from the Medical Laboratory Science Program at ULM. I have been a part of the Fleet Feet team for five years! I love working in run specialty because I get to meet and help people from all walks of life that have similar interests as me!

Hey, my name is Kelly Flanagan! Some of the things I enjoy doing are running, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my dog. I'm currently a nursing student at the University of Louisiana Monroe. With that being said, I have a huge passion for helping people, and I am excited to help our customers find the shoes they need or give them tips on running!

Hey y’all! My name is Kennedy and I’m a nursing student at ULM. I’m from West Monroe and I have been with Fleet Feet since May 2022. I enjoy getting to help my customers find exactly what they are looking for!

Hi! My name is Sophie and I am in the Nursing Program here at ULM. I am a Monroe native and I got married in July! I love having the ability to serve our customers and enjoy being able to get them the right fit! 

Hi! My name is Cierstyn, I am recently married and have been a part of the Fleet Feet team for 2 years. I will major in business next year and hope to open my own business in the future. Working at Fleet Feet has been such a great experience and helping customers make their personal goals is my favorite part of the job!

Hi! My name is Gracie and I am a student at ULM. I am majoring in Speech-Language Pathology. I have been with Fleet Feet since September 2022 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with friends and family. I love being able to serve our customers and find the right shoe that fits their needs!

Hello! My name is Sydni Deal and I am a student at ULM. I am planning on majoring in Psychology. I graduated from West Ouachita High School and I ran cross country and track. I love to run, I love to read, and I love just being outside! I am the assistant cross country coach at West Ouachita and love working with the students so much! I am so excited to serve our wonderful customers!

Hey Fleet Feet Nation! I’m Sarah Adams from Ruston, LA. I am a Pre-Nursing student at ULM. I am also a former ULM women’s basketball player. I enjoy playing all sports, love board games, and being outside! I enjoy getting to know all of the customers who come in the store!

What’s up! My name is Hixson Teague, and I’ve been at Fleet Feet since March 2024. I’m a senior at West Monroe High School. Some things I like to do in my free time are hunting, fishing, and hanging out with my friends. I plan to attend ULM and study Kinesiology. Hey! My name’s Chey Bridges, and I joined the Fleet Feet crew in July of 2024. I’m a senior over at Sterlington High School. I run cross country and distance track. In my free time I’m usually running or playing pickleball or tennis with my friends. I plan to later attend ULM and major in Business Administration.
