Owners: The reason we get to be here
Hardy Sellers and Quinn Millington
Hardy Sellers
Owner
Hardy came to Montgomery in 1996 as an Air Force Instructor. In 2000 he separated from the Air Force to join the staff of Vaughn Forest Church as their Administrative Pastor. In 2009, while running with a group of friends, the idea of Montgomery MultiSport was born. Hardy, Quinn and three other triathlon buddies put their heads together and opened MMS in September of 2010, desiring for Montgomery to have a locally owned run and bike shop. Hardy has competed in numerous running, cycling and triathlon events and has run the Boston Marathon twice.
Quinn Millington
Owner
Quinn first came to Montgomery in December 1992. Quinn is a physical therapist and has owned several PT companies operating in the Southeast and currently provided management of PT services and Electrodiagnostic testing to hospitals and physician clinics in the Southeast. Quinn is just an average triathlete (but loves the bike!) and has completed in numerous triathlons over the years.
Born and raised in Montgomery, Abby and her family enjoyed the local running scene from a young age. After a few sedentary years, she came back to the sport of running and triathlon in her early thirties. Her first shoe fitting from this very shop, changed her opinion of running shoes for the better! Abby came on board with the shop as a manager in April of 2019 and has fallen in love with serving customers, the entire outfitting process, the staff and store.
To quote her at the beginning of 2024, "This is my dream job. I am doing exactly what I was created to do. I literally wake up every morning excited to tackle the day."
From an early age, I developed a passion for bicycles, which evolved from BMX stunt riding in my teenage years to mountain biking as an adult. My love for bikes extended beyond riding; I've spent more time as a bicycle mechanic than in any other profession. However, my career has been eclectic, including roles such as a student custodian during college and programming six-axis industrial robots for automotive assembly lines.
I earned a BA in Fine Arts with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Montana, blending creativity with an understanding of human behavior.
In my personal life, I’m happily married with two elementary-aged children. I’m an animal lover at heart and welcome all pets—be it dogs, cats, birds, rats, or lizards—with open arms. Additionally, as a former competitive gymnast, I still enjoy showcasing my skills; for a small fee, I might even perform a front handspring!
