Mindy Hester

Mindy is a retired math teacher who has run every distance from 5K to marathon as an “adult-onset” runner. She has a special message for those who might be concerned that they are too old or too late to the game to start running: You’re not! Be sure to ask her about the Gold Standard for running events.

When not working or teaching online math classes, Mindy and her sweetie Mark (yep, Mark & Mindy...) enjoy walking with their dog and running in the countryside around their 12-acre farm, where they grow a few groceries.
