Rock 'n' Roll Marathon postponed but runners cannot be stopped

Read how area runners are gearing up to keep the last Saturday in April the biggest day for running in Middle Tennessee. 

On Saturday, the day the Rock 'n' Roll marathon, half marathon and 5K were supposed to take place in Nashville, runners from across the area will stage solo races. They will take to the streets and treadmills alone to complete the distance and meet their goals.

Some are athletes who have participated in the Rock 'n' Roll race series every April for 20 years. Others are new distance runners who planned to make the Nashville race their first-ever marathon or half marathon.
