We Gave Away Our Medals

As you cross the finish line of all major races, a unique "finisher's medal" is hung around your neck.  Typically these are heavy, high quality metal pieces with a colorful ribbon, all customized for this unique race. On the back is a place to have your name and time engraved, and Brooks Running sets up at Fleet Feet on the Monday after the Saturday St. Jude Country Music Marathon and Half Marathon to engrave them for free. They are prized tokens awarded for months of hard work, dedication and now finally execution. Runners choose specific races just to earn their cool looking medals.
