As part of fit experience, we utilize 3D scanning technology via our fitID® that takes precise foot measurements to ensure the best fit with shoes and insoles. We also assess each person's unique gait and underfoot pressure using Dynamic Pressure Mapping.
When you stop by to get fit, we will first sit you down and ask you a few questions such as:
What kind of activities you’ll be doing in your shoes?
What pain or injuries do you struggle with?
Are you currently training for any races?
Do you have any goals you’re trying to reach in your new shoes?
What surfaces do you usually walk, run, or work on?
What shoes have worked for you in the past?
What shoes haven't worked for you in the past?
What brand or color preference do you have?
Next, we'll put you on our 3D scanner and Dynamic Pressure Plate and grab some measurements.
After that, we'll grab a pair of our performance socks for you to try on, then head back to the bench and explain your scans to you.
Next, we'll head to the back room and grab 2-3 shoe reccomendations, 1-2 insoles recommendations, and any other products we think may benefit you.
Our goal in this is to take all the stress and guesswork out of the search for comfortable footwear. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable but it can be really hard to so when sifting through all of the shoe reviews, hearing friend’s opinions on the best brand, and just generally not knowing what you’re looking for. We’re here to guide you through it all. So please - stop by and let us show you how easy finding shoes can be.
