The Fleet Feet team is comprised of the most passionate individuals in running specialty. Their focus is centered around giving our guests the best possible experience time after time as well as ensuring you achieve your needs in lifestyle, fit, customer service, training and product.

Opening a Fleet Feet has been a dream of mine since working at Fleet Feet in Charleston, South Carolina. It was a job where I had purpose. Helping others get outside and move. I was once a MIlitary Spouse and had to change my career multiple times, over multiple years, in multiple states. Fleet Feet IS my calling.
My running career started in a small town called Griswold in Connecticut. I was coached by one of the greatest coaches, Gerry Chester. This then led to me being a Captain at Southern Connecticut State University, running Cross Country as well as Indoor and Outdoor Track. After college, I found a love for trail and ultra running. To have the opportunity to move to a place like Prescott, AZ, open a Fleet Feet, and enjoy the 100s of miles of trails is my dream coming true.

I began running (against my will) about 20 years ago while serving in the Coast Guard. It wasn’t until I separated from the military—while feeling bored and very cold in Iowa—that I actually learned to enjoy running. With Des Moines offering races nearly every weekend, it was easy to find events to train for, and before I knew it, running became something I looked forward to. And while I do enjoy running, hiking is my true passion. My love for the outdoors hiking has taken me far, including solo hiking over 1,300 miles of the Appalachian Trail. It’s also the reason I keep coming back to Arizona!
When I’m not at Fleet Feet, you’ll find me spending time with my daughter, Stella. We love playing dress-up, creating art of some sort, watching spooky movies, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, off-roading, camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, and traveling. I’m also a wannabe silversmith and lapidarist. I am always on the hunt for interesting rocks and treasures while out exploring nature and then I turn those treasures into unique jewelry pieces.
With a background in exercise science and education, I love helping others find the right gear and support for their running and fitness journeys. I’m excited to be part of the Fleet Feet team and I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Stephanie would have never imagined becoming a runner until volunteering to run a half marathon to benefit Team World Vision on the spur of the moment in 2016. She was suddenly thrown into a training program and had to figure things out very quickly! She ended up running two half marathons and started hiking at every opportunity.
