Are you passionate about running and fitness? Our guests expect us to identify with their goals and aspirations. We celebrate every runner, walker, and individual who walks through our doors. Do you love sharing your story? More importantly, are you interested in hearing someone else's story?
Do you have a sales sense? We train our staff to be outfitters, who work to curate a product selection for each guest. With every shoe fit, we talk to them about socks, insoles, and anything else they might need once we've heard their story and are familiar with their goals.

Are you patient and willing to serve people? We expect team members to exhibit a warm, welcoming attitude towards guests—to smile and greet them as soon as they walk in, to make conversation with all kinds of people, to serve their needs, and to always put them first (sometimes that means pushing back a lunch break a few minutes!)
Can you stay calm and friendly under pressure? Imagine providing superior service to two guests at the same time while two more are waiting. All of our guests deserve the same level of attention and care. Things can get very busy here and there is always something to be done. Expect a fast pace.
Do you sweat the small stuff? It's the thoughtful little touches that make a "specialty" store special, like remembering a guest's name and what type of shoe they wear. Going the extra mile for a guest by staying open late, or rush shipping them a pair of socks before a big race is what sets us apart from your retail store.
Do you like feet? You are going to get up close and personal with lots of feet. Can you do that?

Are you a team player? Fleet Feet Northwest is like a family and we work closely with each other, sometimes under stress or with other things on our minds. Are you good at switching gears? When traffic slows, you will find yourself busy with stocking, cleaning, training, and more. But when somebody walks in the door, your focus has to switch 100% to friendly service, even if you are behind in your other tasks.
Are you a constant learner? We'll help you learn about our products and the best practices to deliver great customer service, but it will be up to you to ask questions and maintain a learning mindset.
