Summer Speed Kicks Off!
Our summer "Speed Demons" training groups kicked off bright and early this morning in Raleigh and Morrisville! Nothing like getting out at 6 a.m. and getting in some intervals to start the day! The program, which is open to runners of all paces, is geared towards building strength and speed before heading into fall training. It is just four weeks long, but if you missed registering and want to join us for Day 2 on Thursday, you can find program information and the registration link here.
Of course, this isn't your only opportunity to run fast this summer. Today is also the kickoff for Sir Walter Running's summer-long "Pop Up Miles," a series of open track meets where anyone can join. Tonight's scheduled races include: Sub-5:30 (predicted) mile, above 5:30 mile, 5000-meter, and 4x400 relay. Throw on a singlet, lace up your spikes or trainers, and meet us out there!
