With Fleet Feet’s Half Marathon + 5K Training Program Powered by On, you’ll find a holistic training plan to help you cross the finish line feeling empowered.
Training for a race isn’t just about logging miles. It’s about learning to challenge yourself incrementally, tackling different types of runs, building strength and making space for rest and recovery. So join us for one of three offered training plans this fall, where you and your fellow runners will bond as you train, learn and improve together, with plenty of support along the way.
This summer+fall, we will be offering three 12-week training plans, all leading up to the Silver Strand Racing Series on November 10, 2024. We will be offering a half marathon training program, designed to get you across the finish line and through 13.1 smooth and injury-free miles, a faster 5K, designed to help you take your current running abilities and fine-tune them in search of your next short-distance PR, and an intro 5K, designed to get you up and moving in order to successfully complete a 5K race at any pace.
Here’s what you can expect:
- 12 weeks of twice-weekly group training sessions with our expert coaches
- In-person support from our extensive group of coaches and mentors to provide guidance, accountability, camaraderie and fun
- Warmup and cool down exercises to make every run smoother
- Resources to help you build weekly strength routines to make you strong and resistant to injury
- Mobility and cross-training exercises to balance your training
- Tips from pro athletes on gear, nutrition, recovery, mobility and more
