Publix Savannah Women's Half

On your marks, get set, let’s go! ALL women, yes we are calling all women to the Inaugural Publix Women’s Half Marathon and 5K. This is going to be a premium event, so premium that instead of a race t-shirt, every participant gets a custom New Balance gym bag, a really nice gym bag. Oh yeah, and did I mention that New Balance is the shoe and apparel sponsor? Oh yes, straight out of Boston, MA. New Balance Corporate is sending down some heavy hitters for this first time event. New Balance and the Savannah Sports Council are planning for this to be a premium event, just the reason why they capped the entire event at 3,000. That includes both the 5K and the Half Marathon combined, and do you know what that means? It means this event is filling up quick and you don’t want to miss it. 5K and Half Marathon finishers will receive nice medals too, so register now, because when it hits 3,000 - no more. For every woman, walking, or running, this event is for you.

On your marks, Get Set, No - Men we don’t want you running the Publix Savannah Women’s Half. We want you VOLUNTEERING for this first time event. We need groups of men and men’s groups at the water stops, on the course, at the start, at the finish to hand out medals, food, and all other needs that come with putting on a road race. Let’s show up for the ladies as they get their miles in, and as Savannah hosts its first women’s running event.
