Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K Opens Registration

Registration for the 2018 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K opens today at 10 a.m.Central Time at shamrockshuffle.com. Considered by many runners to be the start of the outdoor season, this popular road race offers an opportunity to continue the St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Chicago with a green-infused, fun 8K run featuring music and entertainment, as well as a two-mile walk through the heart of downtown. 

The event will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 and will welcome thousands of runners to a one-of-a-kind 8K (4.97-mile) experience that weaves its way through Chicago’s Loop, starting and finishing in Grant Park. Those who want to enjoy the walk will stroll over a two-mile course along Chicago’s lakefront, starting and finishing in the same location as the 8K.

Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to sign up early and save. Those who sign up during the first week of registration for the 8K run will receive a $39 discounted entry fee, commemorating the 39th running of the event. After September 19, the race entry fee will increase to $40 and continue to increase until the race has reached its capacity. 

The walk will be $35, and registration will close once the event has reached its 1,500-person capacity. Individuals interested in participating can register at shamrockshuffle.com.
