adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Parley: Cleaning up our Oceans

adidas has been partnering with Parley for the Oceans since 2015 to prevent plastic from entering the oceans and taking plastic out of the ocean and making new products with it. These new products aren’t your average recycling products either. Dubbed ‘upcycling’, they’re making high performance running shoes and apparel that weave the plastic into other materials so you can feel confident your purchase is keeping our environment healthy.

The latest round of adidas Parley products launched on Earth Day 2018 (April 22^nd), and we were lucky enough to get some of the Ultraboost 4.0 Parley at our Old Town store.

The Ultraboost 4.0 is the pinnacle of adidas’ running footwear with the best technologies available: Boost midsole, Primeknit upper, Continental™ Stretchweb outsole, and of course the 3-stripe logo that hugs your foot for a perfect fit.

We also have adidas’ adizero Prime Parley from last season available at our Old Town & Lincoln Square locations. Built with the same Parley Plastic infused Primeknit upper, the adizero Prime Parley sits on the same midsole & outsole platform as the adios Boost 3, making it the perfect high-performance racing flat.
