Four Pieces Have Been Added to Nike's Chicago Marathon Merchandise Collection

Last Friday, Nike unveiled their 2017 collection of the official Bank of America Chicago Marathon merchandise. Today, we're giving you a look at four new items that were not featured.

The first of the four never-before-seen items is the popular Nike Element Half Zip for men and women. The piece comes in three colors for both genders: University Red, Binary Blue, and Dark Grey. The Nike Dry fabric helps move sweat away from the skin to the fabric's surface, where it quickly evaporates and thumbholes at the cuffs keep sleeves in place for reduced distraction.

The second item is a limited release graphic tee printed with a black and white image of the city's downtown area with the text 'There Is No Finish Line' printed on top of it. The tee is great as statement standalone top or can be worn underneath an unbuttoned shirt or flannel. The tee is only available in white and is available for men and women.

The third is another graphic tee for men and women. This piece continues the collection's retro vibe and uses the vintage Pinwheel logo by using emoji-like graphics of runners to create Nike Swoosh's in an pinwheel shape. The text underneath reads "The People's Race",  which is a tribute to the marketing direction used during the first Mayor Daley Marathon in 1977.

The last item is the only accessory in the collection and is a 5-panel lifestyle and performance hat with the official 2017 logo which also uses the same font as the Mayor Daley Marathon from 1977.
