Gu Energy Gel was developed by Dr. Bill Vaughan back in 1993 when his daughter, a top ultramarathoner, needed a more digestible fuel for racing. TA DA – Gu Energy Gel was born! Over the years, Gu has been involved in top races around the world including Ironman World Championships and Rock n’ Roll Races. Since 1993 Gu has developed other products for runners including Gu Roctane Gel and new Gu Stroopwafel!
