Here's What adidas' 2018 Boston Marathon Apparel Looks Like

We're almost two weeks away from the Boston Marathon which means adidas has unveiled what can be considered the most anticpated piece of running apparel of the year. The Celebration Jacket and its accompanied apparel pieces.

2018’s jacket comes in two colorways: Hi-Res Red for men and Real Coral for women with purple accents on the shoulders and white accents on the sleeves.

The color palate is bold, bright, and expressive but there's reasoning behind it. Many outlets have stated that this is to represent the feeling at the beginning of a marathon as the runner’s heart rate plays off the crowd’s energy. Mixing bright shades with darker tones accentuates the ups and downs of a runners’ journey. A reflective striple runs alongside the brand's iconic three white stripes is put in place for 360-degrees of visibility.

The adorned Boston Marathon logo and unicorn is featured both on the back of the jacket as well as on the chest. This year, the logo is embroidered which ensures a higher quality as it won’t peel off. 

We also received two other pieces of apparel. The adidas Supernova Tee in a long sleeve version in a deep burgundy color for men and women and the short sleeve version in a charcoal for men and coral for women.

In other news from adidas, the brand recently launched their adidas adizero Sub2 shoe, their lightest shoe ever made as well as their adizero Boston edition.
