Karhu?s Fusion is the Next Level of Fit

The Fusion Ortix is the latest running shoe from the legendary Finnish running brand, Karhu, in stores and ready to take you on your next running journey (whether you’re running from a bear or not)! Karhu, meaning ‘bear’ in Finnish, is available exclusively at Fleet Feet Sports and we’ve been working hard to bring you a shoe that fits your foot unlike any other, from top to bottom. Utilizing our fit id™ 3D scanners, Fleet Feet Sports has been able to scan tens of thousands of feet and use that data to create a shoe that works in harmony with your foot.

The Fusion is made with Karhu’s Ortix™ Fit midsole, which is contoured to better fit the shape of your foot for a more comfortable feel. Debuting in this shoe is the new Flight Deck cushioning, which is a layer of TPU material underneath the sock liner that provides a soft, yet springy feel right when you slip your foot in. Pair those with Karhu’s ¾ length Fulcrum™ with directional cushioning, and you have an amazing fit and super smooth ride so you might even be able to outrun a bear!

Not only does the Fusion have an amazing underfoot feel, it also utilizes a seamless overlay pattern to wrap the midfoot for a secure fit. The internal heel counter adds to the soft, cushy feel while the seamless upper and roomy toe-box ensure your foot is comfortable mile after mile.

Karhu’s Fusion Ortix is now available in two colorways for both men & women at our Old Town, Lincoln Square, and Deerfield locations.
