Mizuno Inspire 14 & Horizon 2

Mizuno’s all new Inspire 14 & Horizon 2, both stability shoes, are launching this month in all our stores! Each shoe gets a new Wave plate, new upper, and new outsole for a complete overhaul that we know you’ll love from the very first step.

Starting with the Inspire 14, Mizuno’s top-selling stability model, you’ll get to experience the cloudwave technology for the first time. The cloudwave is designed to provide a softer ride, while still giving runners the responsive, supportive feel that Mizuno is known for. In the outsole, they’ve added more flex grooves in the heel for a softer landing, and in the forefoot to improve flexibility for a smoother ride. Finally, the upper continues to provide a supportive fit with a locked-in heel thanks to Mizuno’s Dynamotion Fit system. Improvements to the mesh zones and overlays make for a better overall fit and amazing step-in feel.

Next up, the Horizon 2 gets a great update, making this high cushion stability model the softest, most stable ride ever from Mizuno. The cloudwave in this model is flipped upside-down so your foot sits on top of the flat part of the stiff, supportive material underfoot. This was designed because as the shoe begins to wear down, they want you to still experience the soft feel underfoot. You’ll also notice deep flex grooves throughout the heel and forefoot, which enhances the smooth ride, making your run feel effortless.
