Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% Colorway 600: Bright Crimson
Since its debut in the summer of 2017, the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% has seen its share of medal stands. That includes New York, where Shalane Flanagan (2:26:53) and Geoffrey Kamworor (2:10:53), who both won in the shoe. Five of the six podium finishers in Boston wore it, and Galen Rupp had a pair on when he became the first American in 15 years to win the Chicago Marathon. Flanagan puts it simply, "This shoe is a game changer." Science backs this up, as the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% is the most efficient marathon shoe Nike has ever sold. In lab tests, it measured roughly 4% better for running economy than Nike's latest and fastest marathon racer, the Zoom Streak 6.
Many of you have probably seen the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4% in various colorways on lots of runners in the front of the pack at some of the world's fastest marathons this year. Getting your hands on a pair is a different story though. Until now, the only colorway available to the public has been 401: Ice Blue. Beginning on 12/14 though, you'll be able to purchase colorway 600: Bright Crimson in our stores.
We have limited quantities of both 401 & 600 in our Old Town, South Loop, and Lakeview locations but they won't last long. Runners have been scooping these up for the past few months and just like the shoes, the demand shoes no sign of slowing down.
