The two original colorways of Nike's hot Epic React Flyknit shoe came and went. And they went quick. So, we restocked our flagship store in Old Town with two new colorways for both men and women.
The Nike Epic React Flyknit is Nike's newest running shoe. It utilizes a brand-new cushioned foam technology called React. If you're not familiar with the shoe and it's industry-leading technology, scroll down the page for some quick information bites.
Without further ado, here are the new colorways available now in-store only at Fleet Feet Sports Old Town.

Here are those quick tidbits we mentioned...
It's soft and returns a lot of energy.
The Nike Epic React Flyknit is even softer than the Lunarlon foam that came before it. How much softer? 11% softer to be exact. Along with being significantly softer than the Lunarlon foam, the Nike React foam also manages to be 13% bouncier.
It's light.
Nike Epic React is 5% lighter than its predecessor, the LunarEpic Low Flyknit 2, making it one of the lightest incredibly-cushioned shoes you can buy.
Nike React technology is Nike’s longest-lasting foam.
Because the upper sits on one piece of foam, the outsole is essentially the same as the midsole, but with a segment of rubber under the forefoot and heel to help enhance the shoe's durability. “Nike React is more durable than any other foam we’ve tested in Nike running, meaning it will keep up with the needs of even the most dedicated distance runners,” says Kim.
A lot of science went into this foam.
React was the product of Nike’s own innovation lab, and the result of over 400 attempts of mixing new materials at a factory in Taiwan, shaping them and cooking them in ovens, then testing these bricks of foam before actually molding them into a shoe and trying them on.
