Saucony Kinvara 8 Runshield

Saucony Ride 10 GTX
Water Resistant: YesOne of the most recognizable names in waterproof gear, Gore-Tex, teamed up with Saucony to make the Ride 10 GTX to provide unmatched protection from the elements. The Ride 10 is one of industry leading neutral, moderately cushioned running shoes on the market so it's only right to add Gore-Tex technology. Featuring Gore-Tex's newest InvisibleFit lining technology, you’ll get the unmatched breathable, waterproof protection in a more flexible package. Unlike the previous two Saucony models featured above, the Ride 10 GTX uses an 8mm heel-to-toe drop making it ideal for higher mileage but it comes with a bit more weight at 9.5 oz. Mizuno
For the second year in a row, Mizuno’s Wave Rider gets a premium Gore-Tex lining for all-weather protection.
Mizuno Rider 21 GTX
Water Resistant: Yes
The Mizuno Rider 21 GTX provides reliable cushioning with a responsive ride. It is a neutral daily trainer that can handle any distance. As the non-weatherproof version also does, the Mizuno Rider 21 features a springy CloudWave Plate as well as a U4icX heel wedge, the shoe provides a firmer cushioned feel with a slightly softer step in experience. A new premium sockliner further enhances step in comfort while an updated GTX upper offers water resistance. This is a neutral shoe with moderate cushioning. The new Ultra Boost ATR is a mid-top version of the Ultra Boost running shoe with new weatherized technology in its construction.

A water-repellent adidas Primeknit upper wraps your foot in support and comfort. A high collar offers extra coverage and stability in the ankle, and a flexible gridlike outsole adapts to your touchdown while securing a firm grip, wet or dry. Pair that with the Boost midsole which absorbs the power from your footstrike to release it at push-off, propelling you forward. The Boost midsole is also temperature-resistant so you get still get a soft feel, even if the temperature is below freezing.
Also new is the female specific adidas Ultra Boost X ATR. The "X" model uses the same technology as the men's version above with a floating arch, which offers personalized, gender-specific response to the way you move. Both of these models are available at our Old Town & South Loop locations.

Nike
Year after year Nike’s Shield Pack delivers the goods to cope with the brutal conditions of winter running in the Midwest with grippy, high-abrasion outsoles for slick surfaces along with DWR-coated uppers with internal water-resistant booties to keep you warm in the worst of winter. The Shield Pack includes Nike's always-popular neutral shoe, the Pegasus 34 and their stability running shoe, the Structure 20.
Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34

Made for rainy days, the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34 Shield Men's Running Shoe features an updated, lighter Flymesh material with a water-repellent finish. The tried and true cushioning and support runners have come to love remains. The one-piece Flymesh fabric upper has a DWR (durable, water-repellent) finish to help keep water out. It's still lightweight and breathable to help keep your feet from overheating.
