Train for the Big Run Pub Run to celebrate Global Running Day! Join us as we prepare to complete 3.1 miles, have some fun and gain fitness. Walk it, run it, or interval walk/run your training twice a week to go the distance. We can't wait to celebrate YOU & the sport of running at our Global Running Day celebration: The Big Run Pub Run!

The Big Run 5K Fitness 

This training group will get you ready to tackle the 5K distance and we will get you there as we gently increase your weekly mileage. We will offer fun weekly routes with inclusive workouts for the walker, interval walk/runner and runner. Whether you are ready to conquer your first 5k or are looking for camaraderie and a fun group to belong to as you step up your fitness, we are here to help. We can't wait to celebrate Global Running Day with you!

Goal Event: The Big Run Pub Run 

Duration: 7 weeks, two group training runs per week

Dates: April 12, 2025 - June 4, 2025

Days and times: Tuesdays at 6:00pm and Saturdays at 7:00am

Cost: $80

Gear Night:  April 15th immediately following training (Get 10% off storewide and a Gift with purchase!)

KICKOFF: Will be the first day of training, Saturday, April 12th at 7:00am 

Come prepared to start training and have fun. You'll meet your Coaches and other participants, we'll get

you all the details and answer any questions you have!

Locations and Times 

5K Fitness meets at various locations on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and Saturdays at 7:00 AM. Group activities usually last 60-90 minutes, depending on the distance of the run/walk. 

Coaching

Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches will check in with you at every training run to keep track of your progress, keep you motivated, and give you individualized coaching. Training groups will be small, so you'll have plenty of one-on-one time with your coach.

Training Plan

Your 7 week training plan will provide daily assignments for running/walking, cross training, strength work, and recovery. The plan will gradually increase overall training volume while offering opportunities for your body to build back stronger, week after week.

Community

The camaraderie of training with a group week after week will take your training to the next level. When the training gets more rigorous, you'll have the collective strength of the group to keep you moving forward. When you crush a key workout, the group will be there to celebrate your achievement. And on those early morinings when you just don't feel like getting out of bed, the training group will keep you accountable.
