Event Details
Date: July 26-27, 2024
The Standhope Ultra Challenge offers three main races:
- 100 Mile: An incredibly demanding race with over 22,000 feet of elevation gain. This course will push your endurance to the limit as you navigate rugged terrain and high-altitude trails.
- 60K: A challenging but slightly shorter course with over 10,000 feet of elevation gain. Perfect for those looking for a significant test of endurance without committing to the 100-mile distance.
- 30K: While not an ultra distance, this race still offers a demanding course with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. Ideal for those new to trail running or looking for a shorter distance to test their mettle.

How to Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Standhope Ultra Challenge. If you're not running but still want to be part of this incredible event, consider volunteering. Here are a few ways you can get involved:

Aid Stations: Help set up and manage aid stations along the race course. You'll provide essential support to runners by handing out water, snacks, and offering encouragement.

Course Marshals: Ensure the safety of participants by directing runners at critical points along the course and providing them with necessary information.

Medical Support: If you have medical training, your skills are invaluable in assisting runners who may need medical attention during the race.

Start/Finish Line Assistance: Help with the organization at the start and finish lines, including setup, check-in, and post-race activities.

Sweepers: Follow behind the last runners to ensure everyone stays on course and receives help if needed.
