Thanksgiving morning is right around the corner, and there’s no better way to kick off the holiday than joining the Turkey Day 5K in Downtown Boise or Downtown Caldwell! Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this family-friendly 5K is the perfect way to start the day with community spirit and a little exercise before the big meal.

For those registered, Turkey Day 5K packet pickup will be available at both Fleet Feet Treasure Valley locations:

Help Us Support the Boise Rescue Mission

This year, Turkey Day 5K is teaming up with the Boise Rescue Mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need. We’re hosting a food drive to provide warm meals for homeless men, women, and children in the Treasure Valley during the holiday season. You can drop off non-perishable food items at either Fleet Feet Meridian or Fleet Feet Nampa any time leading up to Thanksgiving.

Here’s a list of some of the most-needed items:

• Canned vegetables, fruit, and chili
• Pasta, rice meals, and spaghetti sauce
• Peanut butter, jelly, and granola bars
• Breakfast items like oatmeal, cereal, and pancake mix

Your donation will go directly to the Boise Rescue Mission to help them prepare meals and spread holiday cheer to those in need.
