Summer of Power: A Char Fitness Club x Fleet Feet Montclair Collaboration

CHAR Fitness Club and Fleet Feet Montclair are teaming this spring/summer to offer some brand new programs incorporating a strength and mobility component that we are so excited about.

Performance Training for Runners

Tuesday’s 6:30-7:30PM, 8-weeks (05/23 - 07/23, skipping the week of July 4th)

An intermediate strength program will include unilateral movements, dumb/kettlebells, and resistance bands helping athletes prep for their summer and fall races. 

We ask that athletes be proficient in their hinge pattern, squat, lunge and plank [over :45].

Summer Sweat

A two-part, 4 week speed and strength program that will meet twice a week and focus one day of training on the track, and another challenging yourself with body weight and resistance exercises in an outdoor class. These training sessions will be modifiable to meet every athlete where they’re at, no matter the pace.

Session 1 (June 6th - June 29):

Speed Sessions will be on Tuesdays (June 6, 13, 20, 27) at 6:00am. Strength Sessions will be on Thursdays (June 8, 15, 22, 29) at 6:00am.
