New Directions of Horry County

New Directions of Horry County came to be in 2013 after the consolidation of three local independent shelters. Streamlining the three into a single orgnization has allowed them to better serve and assist the men, women, and children experiencing homelessness, poverty, and/or addiction in our communities. They don't merely provide a place for people to stay and eat. They offer a multitude of services to give people the tools they need to get back on their feet and accomplish their goals in life. They have made a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of individuals and families and continue to be a rock for many in their path to recovery. Individuals wanting to do their part and support New Directions can do so through the following ways:

• Monetary donations
• Non-perishable food donations
• Clothing donations
• Hygiene product dontations
• Volunteer hours through one of their many programs
