The More Foundation

In operation since 2002, the More Foundation is our go to partner for shoe recycling and conservation efforts. Shoes that are about to be tossed instead are sent to them. They will take the donated shoes and sell them to vendors in developing countries at a fraction of their cost to help serve underserved communities. The proceeds of those sales are directed straight into conservation projects, with their big focus being agroforestry. The More Foundation buys and distributes thousands of tree seeds to rural farmers, which lead to the creation of a Tree Seed Bank. Thousands of trees are grown from the seeds from the bank, which leads to millions of tree seeds forming each year. They have established new tree nurseries each month and aim to continue growing their reach to aid in their efforts.
