Cookie Mile: Know Before You Go

We're just days out from the inaugural Cookie Mile Presented by Nike, Fleet Feet, and Kookaburra Cookies! Whether you're trying to set a new PR, running with the family, or are just signed up for the cookies; we're so excited you're here. 

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

GENERAL INFO

• Date: Saturday, June 28
• Time: 8am
• Location: Stinson Park, Aksarben Village, Omaha NE

PACKET PICKUP 

• Friday, June 27: 10am-7pm at Fleet Feet Aksarben
  
  • We highly recommend picking up your packet on Friday!
• Saturday, June 28: 6:30-8am in Stinson Park

LOCATION+ROUTE

On race day, plan to be in Stinson Park by 7:30am. Race day packet pickup will be at the main shelter, near the playground.

For the race route, runners will begin on Mercy Rd. just outside the Fleet Feet Aksarben store. They will then take a right on Aksarben Dr., a right on Pine St., and a right on 67th St. The course concludes at the corner of 67th and Mercy, where runners will be met at the finish line with a gold medal and a fresh-baked Kookaburra cookie.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 8:00am: Elite Mile
• 8:15am: High School & Middle School Mile
• 8:30am: Open Mile
• 8:45am: Kids Mile around Stinson Park
• 9:05am: Awards in Stinson Park

ROUTE

The Cookie Mile route is a big loop around the entirety of Aksabren Village. Starting from the Fleet Feet Aksarben store, runners circle the village before finishing on the corner of 67th Street and Mercy Road.

PARKING

Parking is available for free throughout Aksarben Village. Note that no cars will be allowed on Mercy Rd,, and lanes on Aksarben Dr., Pine St, and 67th St. will be restricted from 6am until 9:30am

On race day, we’ll have plenty of lively stations across Stinson Park:

KIDS DIVISION

The Kids Division Race will begin at 8:45am. Starting under the shadow of the Aksarben Village tower, kids will race 4 laps around Stinson Park to make 1 mile. They will also be greeted with a medal and cookie at the finish line.

The Kids Division Race is untimed, and parents are welcome to run with their youngsters during it.
