Fleet Feet Richmond is now accepting applications for its 2025 Ambassador Team! 

Consideration for this team will be based on application selection. Those selected as team members will be friendly, non-intimidating, encouraging, and inspiring to all runners, walkers and customers in the community. 

What qualifies me to be a part of the Ambassador team?

• Enthusiastic and supportive of athletes at all paces
• Passion for supporting the local running and racing community
• Be a representative of the Fleet Feet brand in and out of the store
• Runners and walkers of all ability levels are encouraged to apply

What are the responsibilities/expectations for a Fleet Feet Ambassador?

• Providing support at events by handing out demo shoes, assisting with raffle sign-ups, and guiding runners on routes.
• Being available primarily after 5 PM on weekdays and on some weekends.
• Occasionally attending expo events, which typically occur during weekday business hours.
• Helping runners navigate event routes from start to finish.
• Promoting our events through your social media channels and by word-of-mouth to increase participation.
• Focusing solely on promoting Fleet Feet events and refraining from promoting competing stores or accepting similar positions within other run specialty businesses.
• Sharing your knowledge of the featured brands and products with participants.
• Addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Representing Fleet Feet as a key resource for runners and explaining the services we offer at our locations.
• Nurturing and strengthening our relationships within the local running community.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events, including tables, product displays, and cleanup.
• Must be available for 2 events per quarter (8 events total min. throughout the year).

We will provide you with advance notice to allow for proper preparation and scheduling for each event. Our events include a variety of fun runs, demo runs, races, expos, and informational gatherings.
