Tales of the Trail: The CV50/50 and Kissing the Rock on June 5!

Fleet Feet Sports, in partnership with the Arizona Trail Association and the Colossal Vail 50/50 Arizona Trail Run, invites you to an evening devoted to trail running. Whether you’re a veteran ultra-marathoner, want to take your trail running to the next level, or simply interested in trying the trails for the first time, you don’t want to miss this event. We’ll have refreshments (Arizona Trail Ale, anyone?) and learn from seasoned trail runners about gear, training techniques, and the CV 50/50 Ultra Marathon, a local Arizona Trail ultra-marathon on November 12 with spectacular views, well-stocked aid stations, and an epic course! 

We will conclude the evening with Kissing the Rock – a 22-minute documentary on the HardRock 100 – one of the toughest ultra-marathons in the United States with over 34,000 feet of climbing and situated in Colorado's unforgiving San Juan Mountains. Instead of crossing a finish line, runners are required to “Kiss the Rock” to finish the race. The average time to finish the race is 41 hours. It will inspire you to hit the trail!
