Happy New Year! 
As we welcome 2017, I want to share with you some of what we have in store. This year is going to be exciting and full of energy! We will offer new opportunities and to help you be FIT and healthy. We will host group runs and events where you can have fun and meet new people. We will introduce new vendors and products, some of which are exclusive to Fleet Feet Sports. We will continue and grow our community programs and partnerships. 2017 is going to be a most exciting year! Here's a sneak peek of what's ahead:
A continued commitment to the best shopping experience
I know you have many options when it comes to buying your shoes and gear. Your choice to shop at Fleet Feet means the world to me and my team, and we will continue to offer the best customer experience anywhere in Tucson. Through ongoing education and training, our team brings the most knowledge, insight, and compassion that you'll find in retail.
Exclusive product just for us
In 2017, Fleet Feet will become the exclusive retail partner in the US for Karhu Running footwear. What makes this exciting is that we have a say in the development of the product, which is unheard of in our industry. Recently a team from Fleet Feet Sports spent a few days in Asolo, Italy working at Design & Development, Inc. alongside the owners of Karhu. The goal is to help build a truly outstanding running shoe using the feedback that we hear every day from the fit stool. We're excited to welcome Karhu back to Fleet Feet this fall!
New events
Look for fun runs, exciting and new store events. We always want to provide opportunities for the community to come together and have some fun while being healthy, so we are busy planning several new and exciting events for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to stay tuned for details!
Enhanced Training Programs
We have been offering training programs for over 10 years, and are proud to have some of the largest, most well respected programs in our community. In 2017 we continue to partner with SWET to offer a variety of opportunities for everyone in Tucson, as well as Oro Valley and now Vail. It's exciting to help hundreds of runners every year achieve their goals. Be ready for some great training in 2017!
A commitment to community
We're very proud to support many Tucson-area organizations and efforts that enhance the health and wellbeing of our community. Last year we donated over 200 brand new pairs of shoes to adults and children in need and raised thousands of dollars for area organizations such as Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center, Youth on Their Own, Ben's Bells, The Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Emerge!, The Erik Hite Foundation, and The Arizona Trail Association. Dollars spent at Fleet Feet really do stay in our community!
So looking ahead, you can see we are going to be busy: exactly what we like. Busy means we are doing more to build our communities. We are getting more people outside working out, getting healthy and trying new things. We love seeing more people pushing themselves, setting goals, and working hard to achieve them. For 2017, we will do everything we can to assist as many people as we can in reaching those goals, whether it's finishing a 5k, completing a marathon, or hitting those 10,000 steps a day.
