Run Mechanics for Injury Prevention

Join 4-time World Triathlon Champion Leanda Cave and Certified USA Triathlon Coach Carrie Rucker, PT, DPT, for a special run mechanics for injury prevention clinic followed by a group run on the Tucson Loop. 

Leanda Cave is a former Pro Triathlete and 4x World Triathlon Champion and was the first woman to win both the Ironman Triathlon World Championship (Kona, 2012) and the Ironman 70.3 World Championship (Las Vegas, 2012) in the same year. She has numerous other titles, including winning the European Under-23 Triathlon Championships in 2001, the World Triathlon Series in 2002, and the ITU Long Distance World Championships in 2007. She is a USAT & Ironman Certified Triathlon & Multisport Coach. 

Carrie Rucker, PT, DPT, has been working with endurance athletes since 2006, first as an online coach and then also as a physical therapist. She has coached primarily amateur triathletes, runners, and cyclists of all levels of experience and abilities. She is a certified USA Triathlon Coach and a certified personal trainer through NASM. Carrie has also trained in craniosacral therapy, Realization Process meditation teaching, selective functional movement assessments (SFMA), running video analysis, metabolic testing, muscle energy techniques, and dry needling.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend. There will be a group run after the clinic, so please come prepared with water, appropriate clothing, and any other items you may need. We kindly ask you to RSVP at the link below.
