Yay! You have the Mens New Balance 840v4
We were thrilled to find that Fleet Feet still carries stock of this older version of the New Balance 840. The version 4 is a particular favorite of my teen son and Fleet Feet even had it in his sometimes hard-to-find size mens 12.5! We were happy to pay full price for this shoe which is becoming scarce due to its age on the market.

Very comfortable shoe for walking
The best!
Absolutely the best! The staff took lots of time until the fit for my husband who is close to 90 was was perfectly satisfied. He tried on many pairs of shoes and it was determined that they needed to order the righ5 size. His new shoes arrived the next day! He adores them and they have made a big difference in his walking confidence.

Good run and walking shoe for old guys with flat feet XW toe box is great.
Great Shoes..........Finally!
Very comfortable for all day wear and walking for exercise. Tried several different brands of walking shoes; no luck. Ordered online and the fit is great.
Not stiff enough
I have hallux rigidus in my right toe. Podiatrist says I need a stiff walking shoe. At first after trying on 8 pairs at my local Fleet Feet I settled on a HOKA. After a few days I realized it was not stiff enough to stabilize that toe. Thanks to their great return/exchange policy I was able to try a different shoe. Again after trying on 6 shoes I settled this time on the New Balance 840. I've been using it for a week and the toe is still not stiff enough to stabilize my toe. After about 1.5 miles of brisk walking it aches. I don't feel comfortable returning a second pair so I will just stay with it until they wear out. I'm sure it's a great running shoe; it just doesn't do what I need for it to do. As far as sizing I'm normally a 9.5 regular/medium (once in awhile I need a 10). The 9.5 was a bit short so I purchased a 10 and it fit great.
First time customer
Excellent service product & experience.
Buying without trying on
Normally would never do that but since you had the exact brand.style. model . Size etc as my previous shoes I thought I'd buy...worked out well.
Thank you
