Brooks Cascadia 16
Features
The Brooks Cascadia 16 lets you explore the trails fearlessly, thanks to an updated Ballistic Rock Shield and enhanced adaptability throughout the outsole. The Cascadia 16 uses DNA Loft v2 foam to provide an even lighter, softer feel while you run. This helps absorb impact and cushion landings on uneven surfaces.
Unique grooves in the midsole and outsole help the shoe conform to rocky terrain, providing stability on even the most unstable trails. An updated Ballistic Rock Shield works with the more adaptable construction of the shoe to offer protection from rocks and debris while helping to stabilize your ride.
A reinforced toe offers additional protection, while the knit mesh throughout the toe box provides ventilation to help you deal with hot temps and water crossings. The heel collar is padded and protected to block debris and keep your foot securely engaged.
Do it all in the Brooks Cascadia 16.

Money well spent
Very comfortable and the much needed support for my pronation and plantar fasciitis..shoe was worth every penny
Great Trail Shoes
Great shoes for trails. I ran a tough trail and the shoes were comfortable and the rough train was hardly felt.
Brooks Cascadia 16
I've worn Cascadia trail shoes for many years and this version is a nice improvement on past models. It is well cushioned but still firm enough for my needs. It also has great toe protection and grip. The holiday design model is a terrific perk.
Happy Brooks Cascadia buyer
I had been a Brooks Beast user for years but new styles were not the best fit. I bought a pair of OrthoFeet because of a trip to Europe that required lots of walking. I found shoe did not hold up to the wear and tear and company did not respond well to my criticism. Basically they said too bad.I shopped around for another Brooks shoe and tried on many at local REI in Sante Fe NM. The Cascadia 16 was first choice and your company delivered on time with a competitive price. I am glad I made the purchase and hopefully the shoe model will hold up to my 150 miles per month on trail and road.
Brooks Cascadia 16
Really liking these shoes. The firm sole minimizes the jabs to the foot from rocks on the trail. The overall feel of the shoe is comfortable and exactly what I needed to enjoy running again Versatile for rail or pavement.
Brooks Running Sneakers
Tried them on at the store but didn't have my size so ordered and it arrived when expected. I have been using the same shoe for a lot of years and they wore well and were very comfortable.
Wide Toe Box
I bought these trail shoes for 2 main reasons:1) I needed a shoe suitable for both trails and roads and that means trail shoes.2) I needed a stiffer sole with less flexibility aft of the ball of my foot.I noticed that when I wore my work boots for hours on end my feet didn't hurt like they did even after a one-hour run. So I wanted to test the theory that it was because of the boots' stiffness. The rock plate in trail shoes provides both protection from rocks and such AND adds some stiffness.Result: So far so good! I've run next to rail roads and on rooted and non-level trails and my feet don't hurt. HOWEVER The toe box is wider than I hoped for in a trail shoe. The non-level surfaces I run on highlight the sliding around. And because the laces begin so far up my metatarsal bones it's hard to get them tight enough around the ball of my foot without cutting off circulation at my arch. That's my only critique.
Great hiking traction
I like these shoes very much but they are not wide enough to preserve my foot from Morton’s neuroma pain. I will be returning them. I am thankful for Fleet Feet return policy.
Brooks is back!
The Brooks Cascadia 16 is a reinvention of a lost trail shoe. The all new trail offering balances grip with protection and comfort for everything from 10K to Ultra Marathon. Having run in other trail shoes this represents what I’ve been looking for. The upper is comfortable and holds my foot securely while the midsole offers a cushioned yet responsive ride across trails from buffed out roads to technical single track. The outsole provides outstanding grip in wet or dry conditions without clogging up. Most will talk about the weight of the shoe but you don’t notice it once your off and running. The Brooks Cascadia 16 is a great offering at a great price. Welcome back to the trail game Brooks we’ve missed you.
