The Hoka Mid-GTX is a great buy
Lightweight comfortable fits very well. Feels secure on the foot and waterproof. What more can you ask for?
2 Thumbs up
Theses boots were not to comfy out the box but as the day went on they molded to my husbands foot and he absolutely LOVES them!!
Wide Feet!
This rating would've been a 5 star if they would make these in wide widths!!
Comfy shoe wrong size a poor service.
The size of the shoes was larger than most other brands. I returned the shoes and it’s been 3 weeks without a refund the choice is yours.
Best trail shoes I've ever owned!
These are the best trail shoes I have ever owned they are lightweight comfortable great traction and 100% water proof!
Runs tight.
The boots are much lighter in color than pictured on the site. I got a biggish size for me which is still too tight. I will be returning them.
Anacappa mid gtx
I have only been wearing these off and on for a couple of weeks. I needed waterproof hikers for a trip my wife and I are taking. I have a very painful right foot and ankle. I thought I’d try the mid to give some ankle support. I’ll tell you I’m so glad I chose these shoes. The cushioning is Hoka comfortable and seems to be more evenly distributed across the entire sole. Very cushy with great return. The uppers fit my foot well and support my ankle. When I walk in these shoes there is very minimal to no discomfort. This hasn’t happened I a few years. The only negative (besides the cost) is that while sitting and resting a hot spot develops on the outside of my right ankle. I can live with that. It’s just a signal to get up and keep moving. I plan to get a pair of Lahaina mid. I want to change shoes out once in a while. They are my walking dress gym and coaching shoes. Glad I bought them.
Solid Boots
I work at a tree nursery so I’m on my feet running around in dirt water and mud all day. These boots are lightweight and comfortable the gortex shell is completely waterproof super easy to clean and the vibram sole provides great traction. I would say the mid length isn’t as supportive as a traditional hiking boot (leather) but a close second.
