HOKA Challenger 7 GTX
Features
Rain or shine, trail or street—the all-terrain HOKA Challenger ATR 7 Gore-Tex gives you road performance with trail traction, so you can run whenever and wherever life takes you.
HOKA improved the Challenger by re-engineering the 4 mm lug pattern to provide a smoother road running experience while still giving you great grip for trail runs. The durabrasion rubber outsole extends the longevity of the shoe no matter what surface you run on. Designers also added more cushioning in the midsole to increase the stack height and allow you to run comfortably for longer.
The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper creates protection against rain and snow to keep your feet dry and comfortable, making it one of the best waterproof running shoes. The new upper material has an improved fit, dries faster and contains recycled material. Plus, there is an extended heel pull for easy entry if you are changing shoes during an ultra marathon, or trying to quickly put your shoes on as you dash out the door for your run.
No matter the weather or the terrain, run in comfort with the HOKA Challenger ATR 7 Gore-Tex

What’s New
HOKA made significant changes to the HOKA Challenger ATR 7 Gore-Tex to improve its road-running performance while still being able to handle the trails with ease. Designers updated the lug pattern for a smoother ride on pavement while still providing plenty of grip for the trails. The increased cushioning and stack height of the shoe give you extra comfort on long runs, hikes and long days on your feet.
The new GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper dries quicker, has an improved fit and more recycled materials. HOKA also removed the pull tab on the heel and extended the heel collar itself to make it easy to put on your foot. All of these updates led to an overall lighter shoe.

An all around great running shoe!
My third pair of this Hoka series. Always a great fit and a durable shoe. Comfortable on pavement and sturdy response on both dirt and rocky trails.
Nice shoes but not as comfortable as my Clifton 9s
Nice shoes but they lacked the level of cushioning I had grown to appreciate in the Clifton 9s. I also found that I had to order a half size bigger then usual perhaps due to the added waterproof layer. I ended up returning them and getting the Clifton 9 GTX which I found to be much more comfortable for me.
