So whether you're chasing FKTs on technical singletrack or just getting after it on your local trails, the HOKA Speedgoat 6 delivers incredible grip and HOKA's cloud-like cushioning in an ultralight, ultra-capable trail shoe.

No dropoff from previous models in my opinion, to me this is the best overall trail shoe. I hike, run and race in these with no issues and they're perfect for the technical terrain we have here in the Northeast. Sometimes the Vibram starts to fade earlier than you want, but that is due to the terrain. The cushion feels like it'll last to 1,000 miles.
They are okay. I bought them hoping to wear them on my Camino, but they aren't something I would want to wear on a 500 mile hike.
