This year, the FuelCell SC Elite v3 is updated with New Balance’s Energy Arc, which pairs the sports-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids that increase stored energy to deliver a higher amount of energy returned.

What's New
The New Balance FuelCell SC Elite v3 is the newest version (with a name change) of the FuelCell RC Elite v2. It is part of New Balance’s new SuperComp line that uses premium materials to provide you with the best running experience possible.
The biggest change made to the FueCell SC Elite v3 is the addition of New Balance’s Energy Arc which is also featured in the FuelCell SuperComp Trainer. The Energy Arc combines a carbon fiber plate with voids in the midsole to give you more energy return, smoother transitions and a more stable ride. Other changes include lacing loops in the upper as opposed to eyelets and a slightly wider platform.
