New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2
Features
Find energy in every step in the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2.
The Rebel v2 delivers responsiveness to you thanks to New Balance’s high-rebound FuelCell midsole foam. Designers reworked the geometry of the shoe to create smooth transitions and bouncy cushioning with each step.
The outsole is engineered to take on daily mileage while providing the traction you need to generate top speeds during workouts. The heel and outer edge of the outsole are reinforced with durable blown rubber so your run feels fresh after logging big mileage.
New Balance constructed the upper from lightweight, engineered mesh to provide the structure and support you need to stay engaged on your run without adding extra weight to the shoe. Logo overlays provide lateral support, and an anatomical heel collar adds to the barely-there feeling of the upper.
Whether you’re chasing down a PR or are looking for a lightweight addition to your shoe collection, the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v2 is the shoe for you.

Roseville Protectorate
Shoes are great.Shout-out to the Roseville CA location for their absolute ocular pat down goon squad. Top tier security measures. If the 8 leering employees aren't enough the teenager (9th employee) discussing someone's mental health issues right next to the register drives home the impression that this isn't a place you want to be. Truly elite loss prevention. Also encourages me to do more interval training as I sprint out the door.
Fuel Cell
Excellent shoe. Cushioning top shelf. Comfortable. If a negative- soles wear out too quickly.
New Balance FuelCell Rebel V2
Lightweight but enough cushioning for the roads.Funky looking but more than efficent for my needs.
Lives up to the hype
I was looking for a responsive cushioned tempo trainer. This one checked all the boxes before trying it on and has a ton of good reviews so my expectations were high. The replaces the brooks Hyperion tempo which was response but too firm for my preference on longer runs and seemed to get firmer in cold weather. The NB rebel 2 has the right balance of responsiveness and cushion to handle longer mileage (10+) progression runs. The weight is low and the stack is just right to have the ground feel but still absorbing the impact. I’m hoping to get 400 miles out of them.
one of my favorite shoes
Reminds me a lot of the Hoka Rincon but I prefer this shoe. Super squishy foam and super light. It makes me want to run faster. It's just a fun shoe to run in. I love this shoe.
Fun and Fast but comf
Great value shoe for tempo and fast day running but can also handle daily running as it's got good cushioning. I have enjoyed running in these shoes so far and look forward to the miles I put on them in the future.
