ASICS MetaSpeed Sky
Features
The women's ASICS Metaspeed Sky takes race-day speed to the next level.
The Metaspeed Sky helps boost your speed by extending your stride length. The longer stride length means you go farther with each step without increasing your cadence.
ASICS powered the shoe with a FLYTEFOAM Blast Turbo midsole. The top-tier foam is light and springy for a ride that won’t hold you back. Plus, designers added a carbon-fiber plate that guides your foot through the transition and propels you forward.
A curved outsole helps conserve more energy with each step, so you can run longer, while a proprietary rubber outsole sticks to the road without weighing you down.
Engineered for top speed on race day, the women's ASICS Metaspeed Sky gives you everything you need to chase down your PR.

Love them!!
I took a chance on the MetaSpeed Sky shoes after reading about how awesome they are. They were comfortable right out of the box no break-in needed. I did a track workout with zero aches or pains. In fact my splits were faster and felt easier than ever before. I use these shoes exclusively for track workouts and racing. They are possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever run in. I loved them so much I actually switched from Hoka to ASICS for my daily trainer (NovaBlast 3) and now I'm a total ASICS convert. I sized up a half size from what I wear in my daily trainer (9.5 to 10) and they fit perfectly. Definitely give these a try if you're looking for a very fast race/tracks shoe. Shipping was also very fast!
Too narrow toe box
I tried these shoes running outside in cold weather with wool socks and my toes were numb the whole time. I thought it was because of the thicker socks but I just tried with regular socks and I felt the same. I ran 5 miles and the whole time was thinking of taking my shoes off. I ordered a whole size bigger than my usual. I do not recommend them.
