Brooks Dare Underwire Sports Bra
Features
The Brooks Dare Underwire Run Bra is a super comfortable underwire sports bra. This bra was designed by Brooks and the University of Portsmouth Institute for Breast Health to give you a secure, held-in feel while reducing bounce for a comfortable run. The built-in molded cups provide great support for each breast, prevent the uni-boob look and help to prevent headlights when you walk into air conditioning after a run.
The underwire design and minimal bottom band offer additional support for each individual boob. Brooks used its sweat-wicking DriLayer® HorsePower fabric, combined with strategically designed perforation, to keep you dry and cool during the run.
You can personalize the fit of the Dare Underwire Bra with the adjustable straps—wearing it as either a scoopback or a crossback bra. The crossback design looks particularly cute under a strappy tank top. Finally, the back closure of this bra allows you to easily put it on or take it off—no trying to wrestle with pulling a sweaty sports bra over your head!

Fantastic
I searched for months to find a new sport bra that would replace my old favorite which is no longer made. This is it! I now own it in multiple colors and will buy more. First I will say that an underwire is a MUST for me in regular and sport bras. Never found a bra without one that did the job. I also can’t stand the sport bras that you have to wrestle over your head. Many are designed like that so it narrows my options. I want a standard clasp in the back with normal straps- not racerback or cross over. If a bra is designed well all that is not necessary. This bra has detachable straps to adjust the placement to crossover. I never use that option. So the one flaw I think the bra has is the detachable straps. It comes loose with every wash so I always have to straighten and reattach them. It’s a pain. Only came loose once while wearing it in over a year and probably because I didn’t have the straps tight enough. If you adjust so the straps are the appropriate length and they’re nice and tight that never happens. FYI I use these for running walking XC skiing snowshoeing yard work and any other activity. I hope they never stop making this bra but I would love it if they got rid of the detachable straps and just sewed them in a fixed position. I am 36D in regular bras and 36D in this too. The back strap is on the tightest clasps. I would like it if I could tighten it a little more but it’s acceptable.
Don’t believe the hype
34DD. No support whatsoever. So hard to find a quality underwire sports bra that fits properly.
Pink running bra
I love the bra. It is super comfy and supportive. It arrived very quickly and the price was great. However the first time I washed it one of the hooks bent backwards and it’s hard to fix but I will keep trying!
It’s all good!
I have 3 different kinds of Brooks bras. They are all fabulous and each does what it promises wicks moisture eliminates the bounce and looks good. The Brooks Dare Underwire is my latest purchase and it is good comfortable enough to ride a sitting trot and nice enough to wear with everyday clothes.
