Rinse and repeat
Bought this second pair for my partner who had worn out her first pair with all the hiking and walking we do. Both of us wear Hoka shoes daily. Well built and help our old tired feet.
Like walking on a cloud!
At first I was disappointed that my sister purchased these shoes for me as a gift. I had tried on a pair of HOKAs at my local running store and found them uncomfortable. I have a neuroma under my right foot so I need shoes with a wide toe box and support. I thought that all HOKAs just wouldn't feel good on my feet. Boy was I wrong! As soon as I tried the Speedgoats I felt like I was walking on a cloud. The toe box was wide. No pressure on my neuroma because the shoe provides cushioned support. I was always a Brooks gal but I may now be a Speedgoat gal! I would love different (less loud) colors next time...and there will be a next time!
Great trail shoes confusing sizing
I love Hoka One One trail shoes. No matter how fast or far I run I feel like HOOs cushion my feet and make recovery a lot faster. My only issue with the brand is that the sizing is quite different from other brands. In other brands I wear a 10 in any kind of running shoe. With HOO I had to go down to a 9. With other HOO models I've had some issues with a too-tight toe box but the Speedgoat 4 doesn't have that issue. As other reviewers have noted the Sppedgoat 4 has a rubberized-feeling tongue rather than a fabric tongue. This can make for uncomfortable rubbing if you don't wear the right socks... but I think this is a good feature since it encourages you to wear a higher sock on the trails. Overall a great shoe good for any kind of terrain. When I've run over wet asphalt in the Speedgoat I haven't noticed the slipping I feel in other brands' trail running shoes so this is a solid choice if you're going to have mixed road/trail runs.
Hoka Speedgoat.
I love my new Hokas! I was able to get the correct size in just a few days. They are super comfortable and perfect for trail hiking.

Love the colors
Amazing!
I love my Speedgoats! They’re perfect for running on gravel roads. They have the perfect amount of cushion for me. My feet feel amazing after running in them even after on long runs.My only complaint is the tongue is a bit too long and is a stiff thin leather material. The first couple times I ran in them I wore short socks and the tongues dug into my ankles. I’ve since switched to taller socks and I haven’t had any problem since.
Hoka peedgoat
I've always loved the various Hoka trail shoes and the Speedgoat is no exception. It's comfortable and supportive and has great traction and stability. My only issue was the tongue of the shoe. It's not cushioned as most are. Rather it's a piece of rubber. Three miles into my first run with my new shoes I felt my ankles burning. I looked down and saw that the tongues had sliced into my ankles. Ouch! It was a long three miles back. I was going to return the shoes but other than that issue I really love them so I just trimmed the tongue a bit. Back in business.
I love it :D
I love this shoes! Hoka for me is my favorite brand in tennis. Thank you for helping .
Awesome Trail Shoes
This is my 3rd pair. I love the deep lungs and how they stick to rocks. There’s good cushion yet enough stiffness for stability. They are light enough to wear road running too.
